Electric Vehicle Technology Certificate Program
This will lead you to the Open learning initiative that is a Database of free self-study classes hosted by Carnegie Mellon University.
Open learning Initiative Here you can sign up for a self guided class in electric vehicle technology. This is a college level class.
PAID TRAINING
WorldPac
Both Virtual and live training.
Weber State University in Ogden Utah. (combination of on line and in person)
They have a hybrid Electric Boot camp that consists of 3 phases. - total cost is approximately $2685 per student.
Phase 1 - online. Duration: Approximately seven hours of course content.
Phase 2 -online. Duration: Approximately 21 hours of course content.
Phase 3 - In person Duration: Approximately 35 hours of course content delivered between Monday-Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
AMI (The Automotive Management Institute)
Offers course bundles and packages for training. Prices range from $2800- 350, depending on longevity and limits on access to their 15 courses in their Electrified Vehicle Training series.
Offers Tesla & Hybrid classes, they are all hands on with a VERY low class count.
OTHER RESOURCES
EV rides is a Portland Oregon based company replacing and upgrading Leaf batteries. They provide that service to individuals as well as sell used Leafs.
Tesla Service and repair subscriptions are free.
Includes Service Manual, Parts Manual, and Body Repair
Diagnostic software is a paid service. (3K per year)

THE ELECTRIC VEHICLE ASSOCIATION
A volunteer organization whose goal is to accelerate the adoption of electric vehicles. Although the name has changed this organization has been around for over 55 years
An association of EV drivers and enthusiasts. There are pages to help shop for an EV as well as policy information.

A wonderful resource for technology trends in the industry. You can sign up for their newsletter. They also have a podcast who’s episodes have varying lengths and are easy to listen to. Their weekly news round up is a great way to stay abreast of emerging automotive technologies and what’s going on in the market
